We are getting ready for the 2nd annual 300 miles in 3 days bike ride from DC to Nags Head. The group has grown in size from the original 3 riders. I am excepting to have 8 riders for this years trip. I am going to get some help this year as the increase in riders comes the need for transporting more  equipment and bikes. I turned to the help of Tom Knoerzer, Tour Director and Owner of Get Out and Go Tours. Get Out and go Tours has the experience to support us and with Tom guidance this is looking like a another great trip.

We are going to make some adjustments to the route leaving Northern Virginia. Last year we did 130 miles the first day between Leesburg, VA and Ashland, VA.  That was a lot of saddle time the first day. This year we planning to start in Ashburn, VA and take a more direct route to Ashland, VA. From Ashland to Cheaspeake and on to Nags Head will stay the same. We should finish right at the 300 mile mark.

I will keep you updated with the details as the trip comes along.
